2006 NYC Fretless Fest recap below

The 2006 NYC FretLess Guitar Festival was held on Friday, September 29th and Saturday (ALL DAY), September 30th 2006 at the Knitting Factory, and once again the event defined the FretLess Guitar as the next option in sound for guitarists of all styles. Some of the Artists who performed at the 2006 event are Dave FUZE Fiuczynski and KiF, Ned Evett, Scott McGill, Jon Catler, Ed DeGenaro, Neil Haverstick, Simone Massaron, Tom Fryer, Tellef Ogrim, Michael ATONAL Vick and more. We also had FretLess Guitar WorkShops where many of the performing Artists demonstrated their particular Unfretted techniques.  Another special bonus of this year's FretLess Fest was that our Sponsors : Fernandes Guitars, Vigier Guitars and Godin Guitars gave away FretLess Guitars and more in a Free raffle!!!!

Village Of The Unfretted : NYC Fretless Guitar
Festival and CD Release 2005

The largest Fretless Guitar Festival ever is now over, but it will resonate for years to come without even a sustainer in site. This unprecedented event ran from September 9th - 12th in New York City and was called the "Village Of The Unfretted" : NYC Fretless Guitar Festival and CD Release 2005. The Festival featured players from 6 Countries converging for the Fretless Guitar and Fretless Guitar double CD "Village Of The Unfretted" being released at the Festival.

Many Unfretted Homemade models and special Luthier model Acoustics and Electrics were played, and Godin Guitars and Vigier Guitars were Sponsors of the Event. A CD and DVD are planned from the Unfretted Festival, and many photos, clips, discussions and little .mp3 files of the Festival are going on-line Now.

We have been Featured in Guitar Player magazine multiple times since the New York Festival and CD Release, as well as, Guitar World magazine. Plus we have been in France's Guitare Classique and La Guitare to name a few, and we have been heard on FretNet.com (FM), GagliArchives.com (FM), JazzRock-Radio.com and AuralMoon.com to name but a few..........
